Canada is rearming, and major defence contracts carry an obligation few SMEs exploit: the ITB policy requires prime contractors to reinvest 100% of contract value in Canada — and therefore to find Canadian suppliers who can deliver. That is exactly where Iroc Shield positions itself.

Our argument is simple: we are not entering defence from zero. The group's 3D/CNC chain — design by Iroc 3D, fabrication by Iroc 3D FAB, technical concrete — is already running, with five years of industrial custom work behind it. Iroc Shield reconnects it to a contractual, recurring market: custom parts and components, as a tier 2/3 supplier.

Scope will widen with the calls: ballistic protection and high-strength concrete, prefabricated infrastructure and fortifications, barriers and protection posts — each avenue rests on a capability the group already owns.

And when a call requires a solution that does not yet exist on the market — a part, a material or a configuration specific to a military need — the same development chain, already proven in industry, goes to work.
